Description: Inscribed copper tablet inset in frame of Portland stone with broken scrolled pediment and centrally placed achievement. At the centre of the base a cherub's head rests on a pair of wings. Left of each inscribed name is a regimental badge.
Inscription: TO THE GLORY OF GOD/ AND IN EVERLASTING MEMORY OF/ (Names)/ SEMPER FIDELIS/ AND THESE MEN DIED LEAVING A DEATH FOR AN EXAMPLE OF A NOBLE COURAGE AND A MEMORIAL OF/ VIRTUE NOT ONLY UNTO YOUNG MEN BUT UNTO ALL THEIR NATION. MACCABES CHAPTER VI VERSE 31
