Description: Grey alabaster shield on white alabaster backing of similar shape. At the top a cartouche with the Scout Fleur de Lis and scroll bearing the motto BE PREPARED. Cartouche is positioned between two patrol flags. At the bottom the Scout sign for "Gone Home".
Inscription: OCT 1919 /THIS TABLET WAS ERECTED BY THE PAST AND PRESENT / MEMBERS OF THE 9TH GUILDFORD - CONGREGATIONAL- / SCOUTS IN MEMORY OF THEIR COMRADES WHO / FELL IN THE GREAT WAR 1914-1919 / LEADERS (Names) / SCOUTS (Names) / FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT
