  • Caterham Mirror - Friday 23 November 1951 Memorial will repaired Re-lettering of the inscription on Woodcote Village Green war memorial number of letters were recently prised out presumably for the 15 10s this week. The cost will Include cleaning stonework memorial and repairing the drinking fountain. The Parks Committee of Coulsdon and Purley Council is to consider by a suggestion Woodcote councillor. Col. F. N. Charlton, than an inscription added to memorial to cover those who fell in the last war.
