Description: WALL-MOUNTED BRASS PLAQUE. INCISED LETTERING. 3 stone plaques mounted on three sides of a hexagonal column. 4 carved figures of angels. Crest of Royal Fusiliers below commemoration.
Inscription: IN PROUD AND LOVING MEMORY OF/ ARTHUR MITCHELL RIMER/ PRIVATE 10TH BATTN ROYAL FUSILIERS/ WOUNDED IN THE ADVANCE ON POZIERES 15TH JULY/ DIED IN KITCHENER HOSPITAL, BRIGHTON/ 23RD JULY 1916 AGED 29 YEARS/ "GREATER LOVE HATH NO MAN THAN THIS" There is also a memorial to a serviceman who died - but not in war. IN LOVING MEMORY OF ARTHUR CO0MBES ROYALAIRFORCE WHO DIED ON AUGUST 4TH 1920 GED 20 YEARS. FROM OUR HAPPY HOME AND CIRCLE GOD HAS TAKEN ONE WE LOVE BORNE AWAY FROM PAIN AND SORROW TO A NOBLER REST ABOVE.
