Description: Limestone cenotaph bounded by a low limestone wall. Wreath with crane within it , the symbol of Cranleigh, at the base of the 6 o'clock face of the cenotaph.
Inscription: EAST FACE: 1939 - 1945/ (NAMES)/ 1914 - 1918 1939 - 1945/ AT THE GOING DOWN OF THE/ SUN AND IN THE MORNING/ WE WILL REMEMBER THEM NORTH, SOUTH, AND WEST FACE: 1914 1918/ (NAMES)

Maintenance History: Cleaned in 1993 and refurbished in 2000, including re-cutting of names.
