    Description
    Two stepped base surmounted by square plinth, tapering shaft and cross. All mounted within a triangular grassed area on the southern side of the road. It is believed the names to which the memorial cross relates are given within a wooden frame mounted in St Peter's Church a short distance to the south of the memorial.

    framed dedication: THIS/ MONUMENT IS ERECTED/ IN REMEMBRANCE AND GRATITUDE/ TO THOSE MEN OF/ TOLLARD ROYAL AND RUSHMORE/ WHO GAVE THEIR ALL/ FOR KING, FOR HONOUR, AND FOR COUNTRY/ AND/ THEIR DEEDS INSPIRE US TO HIGHER THINGS./ THEIR NAMES LIVE FOR EVERMORE.
