Description: Wall-mounted marble tablet. Incised lettering in black and gilt. Shelf below. Shelf below holds small brass vases, one for each of those recorded on the memorial and inscribed with their initials.
Inscription: TO THE GLORY OF GOD/ IN EVERLASTING PROUD AND LOVING/ MEMORY OF THOSE FROM WINGFIELD,/ WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES FOR THEIR/ GOD, THEIR KING AND THEIR COUNTRY./ THE EUROPEAN WAR/ 1914-1918/ (NAMES)/ GOD GRANT THEM REST./ "WENT THE DAY WELL? WE DIED AND/ NEVER KNEW, BUT WELL OR ILL,/ ENGLAND, WE DIED FOR YOU."
