Description: A dark wood rectangular backboard, the longer axis horizontal, with five rectangular brass plaques set side by side. The central plaque contains the dedication, surmounted by a Maltese style cross set within a wreath with a palm leaf on each side. The remaining four plaques contain the names, incised and coloured white.
Inscription: Centre plaque: /1914 1918/TO /THE GLORY OF GOD/ AND IN MEMORY/ OF THE MEN/ OF CREWKERNE/ WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES/ FOR KING AND COUNTRY/ IN THE GREAT WAR/ "Jesus said follow me" Other plaques: (names )
