    Wall mounted, portrait oriented black marble backboard supporting a composite nowy-headed and shouldered white marble tablet with rebated side and bases edges. Inscription and names incised and infilled with black paint. / Clock movement in Church tower operating at least two external dials.

    TO THE GLORY OF GOD / IN / MEMORY OF THE MEN FROM EAST CHINNOCK / WHO LAID DOWN THEIR LIVES IN THE / GREAT WAR 1914 - 18. / (12 NAMES) / THE CLOCK WAS PLACED IN THE CHURCH TOWER / AND THIS TABLET ERECTED BY / THE VOLUNTARY SUBSCRIPTIONS OF PARISHIONERS / AND FRIENDS 15.X.1919.
