Description: Wall mounted, landscape oriented backboard supporting an apex-headed white marble tablet. Incised inscription and names infilled with black paint. Tablet script commemorated two brothers who died eighteen months apart during the Great War.
Inscription: In ever loving memory memory of Two Brothers. / SERGEANT REGINALD PHILIP SLADE, COLDSTREAM GUARDS, / WHO WAS KILLED IN ACTION AT YPRES, / ON OCTOBER THE 29TH, 1914, AGED 23 YEARS. / AND PRIVATE SIDNEY CLARENCE SLADE, / SOMERSET LIGHT INFANTRY, / WHO WAS KILLED IN ACTION AT YPRES, / ON APRIL THE 6TH, 1916, AGED 19 YEARS. / FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT.
