Description: Two similar and associated wall mounted shield-shaped stone tablets either side of the Altar. Carved wreath, crown and banner scroll in relief at the top of each shield. Inscriptions and names incised and infilled with black paint.
Inscription: Both tablets: FOR GOD FOR KING AND COUNTRY // TO THE GLORY OF GOD / AND IN REMEMBRANCE OF THE MEN / CONNECTED WITH WIVELISCOMBE / WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES / IN THE GREAT WAR 1914 - 1919. / (55 NAMES in total) / "Lest we forget."
