    Description
The memorial stands in the south-west corner of the churchyard of the Church of All Saints (Grade I-listed). Carved from Hamstone, it consists of a medieval-style lantern cross with a canopied top ornately decorated with carvings in relief, including the Crucifixion and the dove of peace, and surmounted by crocketed finials. The lantern is set on a cruciform column with a moulded capital and crocketed carving to its upper part. It rises from a chamfered, square plinth which stands on a three-stepped, square base. The whole memorial is enclosed by metal railings.
    Inscription
An inset panel on the west face of the plinth carries the principal dedicatory inscription which reads: TO THE GLORY OF GOD/ AND IN LOVING MEMORY/ OF THE MEN/ OF THIS PARISH/ WHO DIED/ FOR KING AND COUNTRY/ IN THE GREAT WAR. The panels to the north and south faces are carved with the 14 names of the Fallen from the First World War. The five men who fell in the Second World War are listed on a bronze plaque to the east face.
