    Description
A slightly battered, square-set Portland stone column with carved Gothic arches, surmounted by a wheel cross. On the north face of the column is a carved figure of St George and the Dragon. The column surmounts a stone plinth which is set on a corniced step on a wide square base. The WW1 dedication is on the north face of the plinth, with the WW1 names on the other three faces. The WW2 names were originally inscribed on the north face of the base, but they have eroded to the extent that a new tablet has been installed at an angle at the centre of the north face of the corniced step, below the WW1 dedication.
