    Maintenance History
In January 2024 the memorial was vandalised by theft of the brass panels. The panels were recovered and the thieves jailed. The Town Council decided to replace the panels and with the assistance of F J. Stevens & Sons the new panels were installed ready for Remembrance Day 2024.
