    Description
Low concave wall with a central pedestal, in front of which is a figure of Victory holding aloft a laurel wreath in her left hand and a sword, pointing downwards in her right. The figure is set on a pedestal on a base and one step. Two curved steps lead up to the paving around the pedestal. A bronze plaque, with a decorative relief border around three sides and relief inscription, is on the base of the pedestal. A second bronze plaque is on the paving in front of the pedestal. Two steps in the centre of a decorative wall lead up to the paving within the concave wall. Bronze wreaths are attached to two pillars at each end of the wall. The two sets of pillars form entrances to the park. A relief sword of sacrifice is on the reverse of the pedestal, and opposite are four Victoria Cross memorials with two information boards. A bench in remembrance of the Royal Engineers stands near.
