Description: Octagonal sectioned latin cross surmounting a two-tiered octagonal plinth and octagonal base. Pinned-lead lettering and numerals form the inscription and names text.

Maintenance History: 2008, December: The Parochial Church Council has asked Newton Abbot Town Council to take over maintenance of the memorial. / November: Memorial restored due to an anonymous donation from an ex-naval officer. Names re-lettered, all except one which it has not been possible to trace as yet. / August: Memorial badly weathered. 2001: Railings around memorial refurbished and painted. / 2000: Some of the lead lettering has fallen off and one of the names has become illegible as a result. /
