    Maintenance History
2008: It was reported that the local Council planned to recarve the names on this memorial and have asked local residents to contact them with names of relatives known to have died during the First World War. SOME REPAIR WORK WAS CARRIED OUT ON THE GATE IN 1992 BUT A LOT OF THE NAMES HAVE FADED, ESPECIALLY WHEN THE GATE WAS RECONSTRUCTED USING DIFFERENT STONE WHICH NEEDED TO BE BLENDED. Moved back approx 30 feet in 1990 from the main road.
