    Description
    Wall-mounted marble tablet and associated mosaic. Tablet has alabaster surround, black lettering and a painted coat of arms at top centre. Names in three columns. Mosaic depicts Christ crucified on a leafy cross with angels kneeling at feet, with a dark blue background.

    Tablet: THE MOSAIC DECORATION IN THE/ SOUTH SIDE OF THE CHANCEL HAS BEEN/ ERECTED TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND/ IN MEMORY OF THE FOLLOWING MEMBERS/ OF THE CONGREGATION WHO GAVE THEIR/ LIVES IN THE GREAT WAR 1914-1919/ (Names)/ ETERNAL REST GIVE TO THEM O LORD AND LET LIGHT PERPETUAL SHINE UPON THEM Mosaic: TE ERGO QUAE SUMUS TUIS FAMULIS SUBVENI QUOS PRETIOSO SANGUINE REDIMISTI. AETERNA FAC CUM SANCTIS TUIS IN GLORIA NUMERARI./ TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN GRATEFUL REMEMBRANCE OF THOSE WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES IN THE GREAT WAR 1919.
