Description: SANDSTONE CROSS SET ON A HEXAGONAL SHAFT AND SHORT, TAPERING PLINTH. THIS STANDS ON A THREE STEP SQUARE BASE. SLATE PANELS ON PLINTH CARRY THE COMMEMORATION (FRONT) AND NAMES (WW1 TO THE TWO SIDES, WW2 TO THE REAR). THE CLOCK MEMNTIONED IN THE COMMEMORATION IS IWM 58955 AT THE NEARBY VILLAGE SCHOOL.
Inscription: THIS/ MONUMENT/ AND THE/ SCHOOL CLOCK/ WERE ERECTED TO THE/ GLORY OF GOD/ AND IN MEMORY OF THOSE/ WHO MADE THE/ SUPREME SACRIFICE/ 1914-18 SIDE PANELS - (NAMES) REAR PANEL - 1939-45/ (NAMES)
