    Description
PULPIT WITH DEDICATORY WOODEN BOARD, COMPRISING GOLD LETTERING, MOUNTED ON A WALL BENEATH A WINDOW. The pulpit was erected in 1918 and was made from reclaimed oak. The pulpit is believed to be a copy of one at Tattershall Castle in Lincolnshire which was built by Ralph Cromwell in the 15th Century. The manor of Lambley belonged to Ralph Cromwell and he rebuilt the church, hence the connection. The inscription reads "A thank offering for Peace. Anno Salutis 1918"
