    Description
    Single-stepped rectangular base surmounted by a tapering rectangular sectioned plinth and tapering rectangular sectioned shaft with an integrated Celtic-styled wheel cross. Knotwork designs in relief on front of lower shaft and wheel cross. Pinned-lead lettering and numerals form the inscriptions and names on three side faces of plinth.

    6 o'clock face: "THIS MONUMENT WAS ERECTED TO THE / MEMORY OF THE MEN OF THE PARISHES OF / BLEASBY AND HALLOUGHTON, WHO GAVE THEIR / LIVES IN THE GREAT WAR 1914 - 1919." / (9 NAMES) / "MAKE THEM TO BE NUMBERED WITH THY SAINTS / IN GLORY EVERLASTING." // 3 o'clock face: 1914 - 1919 / (2 NAMES) // 9 o'clock face: 1939 - 1945 / (3 NAMES)
