Description: Oak boards mounted in and around a window sill. The board to the left carries a gold, Latin cross at top centre above the WW1 commemoration: that to the right a further commemoration. In between, the top board carries the WW2 names in three columns, that below the WW1 in four. All lettering is in gold.
Inscription: Left board: To the GREATER GLORY/ of GOD/ and in GRATEFUL REMEMBRANCE/ of the residents of GOTHAM/ who made the Supreme/ Sacrifice in the/ GREAT WAR/ 1914 - 1918 Right board: BE THOU FAITHFUL UNTO/ DEATH AND I WILL/ GIVE THEE A CROWN/ OF LIFE. THEIR NAME/ LIVETH FOR EVERMORE Centre top board: 1939 - 1945/ (NAMES) Centre bottom board: 1914 - 1918/ (NAMES)
