    Varnished wooden board with pediment, mounted inside and above the main door: lettering in gold. The name of the sole fallen man is on a brass plaque mounted below the names of those who served.

    ROLL OF HONOUR/ TEACHERS AND SCHOLARS/ WHO SERVED FOR GOD FOR KING AND COUNTRY/ IN THE GREAT WAR/ TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN MEMORY/ OF ERNEST REDFEARN WHO LAID DOWN HIS LIFE IN THE SERVICE OF HIS COUNTRY/ OCTOBER 9TH 1917 AGED 20 YEARS/ "GREATER LOVE HATH NO MAN THAN THIS"
