    Description
    Two gilt plaques, each of two panels, set on an elaborately carved, prepared, oak, wall-mounted backboard. The plaques are set on each side of a figure of an angel with a trumpet, carrying a scroll. Each plaque carries the names, in two columns, and is surmounted by a candle holder, and there are Masonic emblems at the foot of the figure. To the left is a Union flag, an anchor and ship: to the right an aeroplane, flag and gun. To the left is a tablet carrying details of the memorial's history: to the right, a tablet carrying extra names of those who died on active service after WW2.

    Plaque 1 - TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND/ 1914-1919/ (Names) Plaque 2 - IN LOVING MEMORY OF /1939-1945 / (Names) Scroll carried by angel - THEY REST FROM THEIR LABOURS. THEIR WORKS DO FOLLOW THEM Foot of memorial - OLD MASONIANS ROLL OF HONOUR Tablet - The mural tablet bearing the names of 250 former pupils of the School/ who made the Supreme Sacrifice was unveiled by Mr Charles Keyser,/ Chairman of the Board of Management of the Royal Masonic Institution/ for Boys in the chapel of St Alban, Bushey on 6th November 1920 and/ was moved to this school following the closure of the school at Bushey./ The names on the Tablet, with those of Old Masonians who have died in/ the Service of their Country since 1945 are inscribed in the Book of/ Remembrance which was dedicated by The Revd F L Jenkins on 11th/ September as is lodged in the School Chapel by the Association.
