Description: Memorial constructed of rough-hewn stone, comprises a three-stepped square base surmounted by a tall, tapering square sectioned plinth followed by a tapering rectangular shaft with an integrated wheel cross. Inscription and names on front face of plinth with a further inscription on the upper step riser face. Black lettering and numerals. (uncertain from photographs if text is incised and infilled or is of the pinned-lead type). The whole memorial is surrounded by posts and chains.
Inscription: Plinth: IN GLORIOUS MEMORY / OF STRETTON MEN / WHO FELL IN THE GREAT WAR / 1914 -1919 / (7 NAMES) / Upper base step riser: LET NONE FORGET / HOW VAST THE DEBT / WE OWE TO THOSE WHO DIED
