    METAL CROSS WITH SUNBURST CARVING SURMOUNTS CORINTHIAN COLUMN OF PORTLAND STONE. COLUMN STANDS ON SQUARE-SET STONE BASE AND BEARS PLAQUES IN EACH SIDE WITH INSCRIPTION AND NAMES.

    1919 - Memorial was installed by the people of Lenton. 2008 - War Memorial Trust gave £1000 grant for conservation to the memorial. 2009 - The memorial was restored.
