Type of Memorial: Cross
WMR Reference Number: 2968
Description: Two-stepped square base surmounted by a pyramid styled tapering square sectioned plinth with moulded upper parts, interfaced by a slender tapering octagonal shaft, boss and takes the form of an early English Cross. Incised inscriptions on sides of plinth and around upper step. A flower vase is sited at each corner of the base. Upper step-face gradient, slopes slightly downwards. A RAF serviceman named on the memorial is buried near it. The name of a victim of 1982 Regent's Park IRA bombing was added to the memorial.
