    Description
    Octagonal plinth and pedestal surmounted by winged victory standing on an orb with her arms outstretched. She holds a small olive branch in her right hand. Dedicatory plaques placed on the sides of the pedestal. A short distance directly behind the memorial is a wall in three sections with the names of those killed in WW2 placed on bronze plaques. An enamelled crest of Weston Super Mare has been placed in between the dates. Two additional sections have been placed either side of it to extend the space and add additional names.

    Front face, upper plaque: THESE DIED/ THAT WE MIGHT LIVE/ TO THE GLORY OF GOD/AND IN MEMORY OF THE/ MEN OF WESTON SUPER MARE/ UPHILL AND KEWSTOKE WHO/ FELL IN THE GREAT WAR/ 1914-1919/ (Names)/ THEIR NAME LIVETH FOR EVERMORE Front face, lower plaque: REDEDICATED / TO THE HONOURED MEMORY OF/ ALL THOSE OF THE/BOROUGH OF WESTON SUPER MARE/ WHO LOST THEIR LIVES IN THE WAR/ 1939-1945 Other faces: (WW1 Names) Main Wall: 1939 1945/ CIVILIANS H.M.
