    Description
    A cenotaph memorial. St George with head bowed, in an attitude of mourning, holding sword surmounting carved architrave mounted on tall granite plinth with two-stepped base. Wreaths and crests carved below architrave. The figure of Saint George is life size and sculpted in white marble. St George stands on top of a granite pedestal. There is a laurel wreath on each face, just below the figure of St George. Dedicatory inscription in gilted Roman style lettering on 6 o'clock face of plinth. Brass plaques mounted on 3 and 9 o'clock faces bear names. Additional tablet mounted on base on 6 o'clock face.
