    Description
    Portrait orientated nowy-headed plaque constructed from thin copper sheet metal incorporating raised border designs, raised inscriptions and names. The border comprises, at the top, a central cross with sun burst behind, all flanked by spreading foliate features spanning between year numerals 1914 & 1919. At the top of each vertical side is a laurel wreath beneath which is tied, a draped flag. Lower border contains a single-line inscription. Enclosed central area bears an inscription and four columns of names.

    c1980's : Memorial discovered resting against a wall in the rear garden of the former Holy Trinity Rectory. May 1991 : Stored in a cellar, wooden surround rotting, plaque covered in lichen. Post 1991 : Rotted wood & lichen removed. Plaque is in a poor condition 2012 : Plaque covered in verdigris. Post 2012 : Plaque stored in a wooden case at St. Ebbe's Church, Oxford.
