Description: Wall mounted, portrait oriented, grey-streaked brown/red marble backboard supporting an engraved brass plaque. The plaque is framed by a raised bronze or brass ? foliate border band design, interrupted by squared bosses at each corner and vertical sides, six in total. Plaque inscription infilled with black paint.
Inscription: TO THE GLORY OF GOD / AND IN PROUD AND LOVING REMEMBRANCE / OF THE MEN OF BREDON, WHO LAID DOWN THEIR LIVES FOR THEIR COUNTRY IN THE / GREAT WAR OF 1914 - 1919 / (4 NAMES) / (33 NAMES) "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." St John 15:13
