    Description
    Three steps up to an octagonal pedestal in two levels. This supports a square column. On each face at the base of the column is a relief laurel wreath design. The column is surmounted by a potent cross. Lower panels of the base base comprise eight panels of approx 50 names in two columns. At the mid level, panels comprise alternate relief design of helmet, oak leaves, water bottle, gas mask and inscription.
