Description: Framed and glazed paper Roll of Honour, executed in watercolour and gold paint. Painted border of madonna lillies and forget-me-nots. Other decoration includes cross and laurel spray, lamb sitting on a cushion at top, St George and the Dragon, painted in centre column.
Inscription: PARISH CHURCH OF JOHN THE BAPTIST, ALNMOUTH/ NAMES OF THE MEN OF THIS PARISH SERVING IN THE ARMY AND NAVY IN THE GREAT WAR/ 1914 ROLL OF HONOUR 1918/ O MAY THY SOLDIERS/ FAITHFUL, TRUE AND BOLD/ FIGHT AS SAINTS WHO/ NOBLY FOUGHT OF OLD/ AND WIN WITH THEM/ THE VICTOR'S CROWN OF GOLD/ BE THOU FAITHFUL UNTO DEATH/ AND I WILL GIVE THEE A CROWN OF LIFE/ AT REST/ (names)
