    Description
Rectangular brass plaque set within an alabaster frame. The incised inscription is black-enamelled, with the initial letters rubricated. The ranks and units of the Officers are detailed and sit above the names of the Other Ranks. As stated in the inscription, the memorial originally featured a Union Jack, which was hung above the plaque, the staff held by carved hands. This flag appears to have perished, and the Colours of the local Branch of the British Legion, before it became 'Royal' now hang in its place.
