    Maintenance History
1993: LETTERING ON THE WEST SIDE IS BADLY WEATHERED; RAILINGS HAD BEEN PLACED AROUND THE MEMORIAL AS THERE WAS A SMALL SURPLUS LEFT OVER. HOWEVER, THE COST WAS GREATER THAN THE SURPLUS AND THE DIFFERENCE WAS PAID FOR BY A MEMBER OF THE COMMITTEE. THE RAILINGS ARE NOW NO LONGER THERE. Restored in 2006, which was partly paid for with a War Memorials Trust grant of £370 (overall cost was £910)
