Description: An octagonal column and plinth surmounted by a bronze statue of St George in armour and cloak, spearing a dragon at his feet. Second World War names added around the base on bronze plaques.
Inscription: IN GRATEFUL AND/ HONOURED MEMORY/ OF THE MEN OF/ THIS PARISH WHO/ LAID DOWN THEIR/ LIVES FOR THEIR/ COUNTRY IN THE/ GREAT WAR/ 1914 - 1919/ (NAMES)/ 1939 - 1945/ (NAMES)

Maintenance History: Lettering hard to read according to one report (1990) Names have been entered into a Book of Remembrance held in the church opposite.
