    Description
    Three plaques set into a wooden surround, which has square columns to either side and a stepped header. In the centre of the header is a red cross, crowned by a green wreath. The words '1914-1919 SEATON DELAVAL COUNCIL SCHOOLS' are engraved in Roman capitals on either side of this above the names which are on the three plaques in raised Roman capitals. The dedication is set out in a panel in the wooden frame at the bottom: above the inscription, the extra name of Elizabeth Gleghorn has been added in gold leaf.
