    • Newspaper Title: Shropshire Star Publication Date: Saturday 17 January 1998 Page Number: 9 Services to honour brave crew members Last year, some of your readers may have seen a documentary on HTV, “For those in Peril”, concerning the loss of 79 sailors and marines off the coast of Milford Haven in 1943. They were the crew members of HMLCG15, HMLCGI6 and six volunteers from HMS Rosemary who died in an attempt to save some of the landing craft crew. As shown in the film, a memorial has been placed in Thornton Cemetery, Milford Haven, and each year services are held to honour these men. In 1998, 55 years on, services will be he{d on April 24 at Freshwater West in the afternoon, and on April 25 at Thornton Cemetery, Milford Haven, in the morning.
