Description: STAINED GLASS WINDOW OF TWO MAIN LIGHTS WITH ADDITIONAL TRACERY LIGHTS ABOVE. INSCRIPTON AT BASE OF WINDOW IN BALCK LETTERING ON SCROLL-EFFECT. WW1 MARBLE TABLET SET INTO WINDOW SILL. BLACK AND RED LETTERING. LEFT LIGHT DEPICTS WOUNDED (KILLED?) SOLDIER WITH RIFLE BEING HELPED UP BY WINGED ANGEL. LANDSCAPE OF BARE TREES IN BACKGROUND AND GHOSTLY FIGURE OF CHRIST STANDS OVER SOLDIER AND ANGEL. RIGHT LIGHT DEPICTS WINGED ANGEL WITH ARM RAISED. DESTROYED BUILDING IN BACKGROUND. PLANTS, FLOWERS AND ROCKS IN FOREGROUND. ONE TRACERY LIGHT DEPICTS SHEILD WITH WELSH DRAGON.
Inscription: (ON WINDOW): THIS WINDOW IS ERECTED/ BY THE RECTOR TO THE/ GLORY OF GOD & LOVING MEMORY/ OF THE MEN OF THIS PARISH WHO/ MADE THE SUPREME SACRIFICE/ IN THE GREAT WAR/ "DULCE ET DECORUM/ EST PRO PATRIA MORI" (ON STONE TABLET SET INTO WINDOW SILL): 1914 1918/ THEY WHOM THIS WINDOW COMMEMORATES WERE NUMBERED AMONG THOSE WHO AT THE/ CALL OF KING AND COUNTRY LEFT ALL THAT WAS DEAR TO THEM, ENDURED HARDNESS, FACED/ DANGER, AND FINALLY PASSED OUT OF THE SIGHT OF MEN BY THE PATH OF DUTY AND SELF-SACRIFICE,/ GIVING UP THEIR OWN LIVES THAT OTHERS MIGHT LIVE IN FREEDOM.
