    Description
    Three-stepped base surmounted by tapering plinth, shaft and Celtic cross. Recessed panel at base of shaft on 12 o'clock face contains inscription and crossed leeks carved in relief. Similar panel on 6 o'clock face contains inscription and imperial crown carved in relief. Names recorded on polished panels on all four sides of plinth. An additional tablet for WW2 added at the foot of the cross. The entire memorial stands in a dip enclosed by metal railings on three sides.

(Lest we forget those who died in the 1914 - 1918 War.)/ (Names)/ HEFYD O'R DREF HON (Also from this town)/ 1939 - 1945/ (Names)/ HEFYD O'R CYLCH CYFAGOS (Also from the surrounding area)/ 1939 - 1945 / (Names); 6 o'clock face: 1914 - 1918/ THEY ARE NOT DEAD/ SUCH SPIRITS NEVER DIE/ (Names); 3 and 9 o'clock faces: (Names)
