    Description
    Two-stepped hexagonal base surmounted by a small tapering square sectioned plinth with year inscription in relief. Rising from the plinth is an unusual double bladed axe-like cross (Cornish Cross) on tallish stout rectangular column with three metal inscription plaques, all with raised lettering, showing dedication and names, attached to front face. The lower plaque is in the form of a wreath. The whole memorial stands within a walled and semi-enclosed paved area with a post and chain frontage to the road junction.
