    Linear eight-sided two-stepped base surmounted by a rectangular sectioned three-stage cenotaph structure, with a Celtic styled closed centre wheel cross rising from a two-stepped base mounted on top of cenotaph.. Incised inscriptions tablets on each side face of cenotaph.

    6 o'clock face, tablet : IN HONOURED MEMORY / OF THE MEN OF ANSTEY / WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES / FOR KING & COUNTRY / IN THE GREAT WAR / 1914-1919 / (48 NAMES) 12 o'clock face, tablet : (65 NAMES) 3 o'clock face, tablet : ALSO OF THOSE WHO / DIED IN THE WORLD WAR / 1939-1945 / (21 NAMES) [ 9 o'clock face, tablet remains blank ].
