Type of Memorial: Clock or clock tower

Description: Three-stepped square stone base with corner stones, surmounted by a slightly tapering Cheshire stone-built tower incorporating clock faces to front and rear of the upper stage & portrait orientated bronze inscription panels with raised lettering, on each face of lower stage. Wreath in relief, above each of the four plaques. Above the upper clock stage, is a platform surmounted by a two-stepped square plinth with a half standing, half sitting, sculpted stone lion, aligned with clock faces. A protruding architectural lamp fitting is attached above the plaques on each of the two tower faces, non-aligned with the clock faces. The whole memorial tower is enclosed by decorative spiked-top metal fencing. The WW1 names are in the upper half of each plaque and WW2 names in lower half.
