    Description
    Wall mounted, shallow-hooded nowy-headed Chellaston alabaster framework containing an upper portrait orientated, WW1 slate inscription tablet & an added lower landscape orientated WW2 tablet. Both tablets are separately enclosed by flush, decorative laurel-leaf design marble border rails. Beneath the lower tablet is a corbelled moulded-edge shelf. All inscriptions infilled with a gold coloured paint. The nowy-head is surmounted by three carved figures depicting ; centre top, Christ on a cross ; flanked by standing figures of the Virgin Mary & St. John. Under the nowy-head is a wreath in relief.
