    Description
    Two-stepped square base surmounted by a square sectioned plinth, tapering octagonal sectioned shaft & an unusual stylised floriated cross. Incised WW1 main inscription on one face of plinth with an incised slate tablet set into each of the other three faces. WW2 incised slate inscription tablets set flush into top & side faces of upper step. The whole memorial is surrounded by paving stones.

    6 o'clock plinth face : IN / GLORIOUS / MEMORY OF THE / UNRETURNING / BRAVE / 1914 1919 9, 12 & 3 o'clock plinth faces : (NAMES) 6 o'clock upper step, top face : (5 NAMES) 6 o'clock upper step, side face : "WE WILL REMEMBER THEM"
