Description: Wall mounted, nowy-headed wooden backboard supporting a nowy-headed, engraved brass plaque with a floral patterned-edging. At top centre is a red cross and two crossed flags enclosed by a wreath. First letter of principal words are presumed infilled red and the remaining text infilled with black enamel paint.
Inscription: THEY DIED THAT WE MIGHT LIVE / To the Glory of God / IN HONOURED MEMORY OF THESE MEN OF HEXTON / WHO LAID DOWN THEIR LIVES IN THE GREAT WAR / 1914 - 1919 / (3 NAMES)
