Description: Shrine, incorporating a triangular pediment, set deep into a raised section of Churchyard wall. Lettering in black. An inset tablet with an incised crest is mounted above the shrine.
Inscription: Uppermost tablet : SOUVENT ME SOUVIENT Main tablet : 1914 + 1918 / IN PROUD MEMORY OF THE DISEWORTH MEN WHO FELL IN THE / GREAT WAR, AND AS A THANKOFFERING TO GOD FOR THE SAFE / RETURN OF SO MANY, THIS TABLET WAS ERECTED : FOUR OF THE CHURCH / BELLS WERE RECAST AND REHUNG : A FIFTH BELL WAS ADDED. / [ left column : (22 NAMES) ] [ centre column : R.I.P. / (21 NAMES) ] [ right column : (22 NAMES) ]
