Type of Memorial: Triptych
WMR Reference Number: 38175
Description: Wall mounted elaborately designed triptych. Within the square-toothed gable of triptych is a carved representation of St. George slaying the dragon. Internally, the doors have illuminated depictions of St. George (left) & St. Michael (right). Centrepiece is an illuminated Roll of Honour with inscription at top, beneath which, are four columns of names, initial letters in red. The whole is bordered by a coloured foliate & floriate design interrupted at corners & mid-sections by a total of eight shields.
Inscription: IN REVERENT ADMIRATION AND GRATEFUL MEMORY / OF THE MEN OF THIS PARISH WHO LOST THEIR LIVES IN / THE GREAT WAR 1914-1919 / [ 4 columns of NAMES ]

Maintenance History: 2013: Triptych cleaned and re-erected by Leicester City, County and Rutland 'At Risk' War Memorials Project. 2010: The church now belongs to Elim Pentecostal Movement.
