    Baptismal font with brass plaque nearby setting out the dedication to Lieutenant Brook's father (Rev Harvey William Brooks, first vicar of St Stephen's Westbourne Park) as well as Lieutenant Brooks himself. See also memorial 98325, which is a stained glass window dedicated to Rev and Lieutenant Brooks in the same church.

    TO THE HONOR AND GLORY OF GOD, THIS FONT/ IS ERECTED BY SOME OF THE PAST AND PRESENT/ MEMBERS OF THE CONGREGATION, IN MEMORY OF/ HARVEY WILLIAM BROOKS, M.A.,/ FOUNDER AND FIRST VICAR OF THIS CHURCH, WHOM/ THEY ESTEEMED AS A PASTOR AND VALUED AS A FRIEND,/ WHO ENTERED INTO REST ON ASCENSION DAY , A.D. 1882./ ALSO OF HIS YOUNGER SON, HARVEY GOODWIN,/ LIEUT 1ST BATT. GORDON HIGHLANDERS, WHO FELL AT THE/ BATTLE OF TEL-EL-KEBIR, SEPT 13. A.D. 1882, AGE 23 YEARS./ THE FONT WAS RESTORED AND DEDICATED MAY 10TH 1911.
