    Description
    Light coloured marble plate with an Agnus Dei in a medallion in the middle and the dates 1914 1919 underneath. Beneath is a bronze figure od a soldier od a soldier lying on his back draped with the regimental colours. At the bottom is a laurel wreath. At the sides and top are square section pilasters with two inlaid fillets of blue stone. Along the top is the word CARABINIERS in gold. At either side is a free-standing with Corinthian column with a bronze capital. At the top cornice and frieze surrmounted by an elaborate open pediment, with egg and dart moulding, in the middle od which is a square white block bearing the carved regimental badge with, on the top, the bronze figure of a mounted soldier. Beneath the centre plate is a glass door with a bronze and blue marble frame giving access to the regimental roll of honour. The whole rests on a wide shelf, supported by two marble consoles.
